Itinerary

Cape Town

Depart from Cape Town with a quick city orientation and make your way toward Hout Bay along the Atlantic seaboard. With beautiful beaches on one side and Table mountain on the other, this drive captures the unique setting of the Mother city.

Hout bay

Hout Bay is a historic fishing village hidden behind the majestic Table Mountain range. The town still maintains its relaxed atmosphere and harbour culture. Its many local fish and chips restaurants attract visitors from the surrounding areas and beyond. Apart from its beautiful sandy beach, the town is surrounded by stunning mountains leading to the scenic Chapman's peak drive.

Cape Point national park

The Cape point national park brings you to the South-Western most point of Africa. The park is within the Cape floral kingdom, a region with incredibly diverse plant and animal life. Hike up to the light house for a better vantage point of False bay.

Boulders beach

Visit the African penguin colony at Boulders beach and get up close to these endangered creatures. The penguins can be seen lazing on the beach or cooling off in the sea. About 2000 penguins remain at the Boulders colony.

Simon's town

Simon's Town is a historical gem of the peninsula coastline. Now home to the South African navy, the calm bay has been safely housing ships since Simon van der Stel discovered the sheltered bay in 1687. Vibrant coffee shops line its cobbled walkways which take you to some of the most breathtaking beaches in the Cape. Indulge in the many eating spots while exploring the harbour or visiting the navy and toy museums.

Kirstenbosch botanical garden

Nestled at the foot of Table mountian, the Kirstenbosch botanical garden is a World Heritage Site showcasing the biodiversity of the Cape floral kingdom. A tour through the garden will reveal the flora from the region, as well as the striking Camphor avenue and the tree canopy walkway that rises above the tree tops.
